Maintenance, Repairs, and Renovations – We work with many vendors from painters, carpenters, contractors, plumbers, etc.  Our relationships with these vendors are solid and we have been working with many of them for over 10 years.  Therefore we will always get you reasonable rates no matter what the problems are.  We can say with confidence that if there is a problem call you will not be disappointed when you see the costs.  Also we want you to compare your renovation estimates with our vendors so that you can see for yourself the beneficial savings received by working with our company.

Evictions – Our team is experienced in evictions and collection of back rent.  We have an in-house attorney that specializes in evictions.  The average cost for an eviction is approximately $700.  We also have a collection agency that handles the collection of back rent owed.  This company typically is successful in collecting monies owed because they can negatively impact the tenant’s credit rating.  They will arrange an affordable payment plan with the tenant and send the checks directly to you.  However the cost involved with this service is 40% of the total amount due.  It seems expensive but 60% of something is better than 100% of nothing.

Specials – From now until the end of the year we are offering the following promotions.

Buyer and Seller Credit:
If you buy or sell your property through Ivy K Realty we will credit you 1% of the sales price back to you to pay for closing costs.  This offer will be good for both selling and purchasing as well.  For example if you sold a $500K property and purchased a $500K replacement, the total credit to you would be $10,000.  The first time homebuyer tax credit may be over, but with the credit we are offering you don’t need it!  This offer will expire 12/31/2010.
